Handling Sexual Harassment: Filing a Complaint

If you experience or witness sexual harassment, we encourage you to come forward. Whether you are a member, volunteer, or third-party collaborator of KLSCAH Youth, you have the right to report and seek support.

About the Scope of the Code

1. Who it applies to:

This Code applies to everyone connected to KLSCAH Youth, including members, volunteers, and any third-party individuals or organizations that work with or collaborate with us.

2. What incidents does it cover:

• Sexual harassment incidents that take place within the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH);
• Incidents that happen outside KLSCAH but are related to our activities, programmes, or affairs, where KLSCAH Youth has substantial control over the alleged perpetrator and the context of the incident.

3. What relationships does it cover:

Regardless of gender or type of relationship (including same-gender situations), any sexual harassment involving KLSCAH Youth’s members, volunteers, or related persons falls under this Code’s protection and procedures.
